1. Introduction


Welcome to Motorcom. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, website, and any purchases made through our dealerships located in Grey Lynn, Greenlane, and Upper Hutt. By engaging with Motorcom, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

 

 

2. Vehicle Sales


  • All vehicles are sold on an “as is” basis, unless stated otherwise in writing.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • We make every effort to ensure vehicle details, descriptions, and pricing are accurate, but we do not accept liability for errors or

 

3. Inspections and Test Drives


  • Customers are encouraged to inspect vehicles thoroughly and/or request a pre-purchase inspection before finalizing a purchase.
  • Test drives are available upon request and are subject to availability and valid driver’s license requirements.

 

4. Financing


  • Finance is available to approved applicants only.
  • Interest rates, terms, and approval timeframes may vary based on individual credit history and lender policies.
  • A finance agreement becomes legally binding upon your acceptance and signature of the terms provided by the lender.

 

5. Insurance


  • We offer Mechanical Breakdown Insurance (MBI), Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP), and Comprehensive Car Insurance through third-party providers.
  • All insurance products are optional and subject to the terms and conditions of the respective insurers.
  • Motorcom is not liable for the performance or outcomes of any insurance claims.

 

6. Trade-Ins


  • We accept trade-in vehicles, which must be legally owned and free from encumbrances unless declared.
  • Final trade-in value is subject to inspection and market evaluation.
  • Motorcom reserves the right to reject any trade-in offer.

 

7. Vehicle Returns and Refunds


  • Vehicles are non-refundable once the sale is finalized and ownership is transferred, except where required by New Zealand Consumer Law.
  • Any issues post-sale must be reported promptly, and Motorcom may offer assistance where applicable.

 

8. Warranties


  • Some vehicles may come with a limited warranty. Please refer to the individual sales contract for warranty coverage and terms.
  • Warranties do not cover wear-and-tear items or damage resulting from misuse or neglect.

 

9. Privacy Policy


  • Your personal information is collected for the purpose of providing services, such as financing, insurance, and communication.
  • We do not share your personal data with third parties, except as required for processing finance or insurance applications.

10. Limitation of Liability


  • Motorcom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our vehicles or services.
  • We are not responsible for mechanical failures that occur after the sale, unless covered by a warranty or required under consumer protection laws.

 

11. Modifications to Terms


Motorcom reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon being posted to our website or available at our dealership locations.

 

12. Governing Law


These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
